My Journey
I am a survivor. When I received my diagnosis, it was a shock and it was also the start of a beautiful a journey back to Me.
By educating myself, I was able to move past the diagnosis and enjoy greater mobility, health, energy and Joy.
A combination of Western Medicine and "alternative" healing modalities were a part of the journey.
Also part of the journey were: a change in job; a lot of work on Me; contemplation and self discovery about where I fit in the world and where and who I wanted to be in the world.
My passion in life now is working with women who have lost a little (or a lot) of themselves and in the caring of others, have neglected the care of themselves.
For me, my wake-up call was an enforced hospital rest, a slowing down and realisation that there had been signs that I had failed to read.
Your call to action doesn't need to be that drastic and your life choices and changes don't have to be extreme
